Among the projects set for inauguration are the Deme Mountain, featuring new roads and landscaping, as well as the Hiyar area, which will include a rest area and a lake. Additional developments include the Wadi Al Helu roads, compensation buildings, and the corniche, all of which are currently under construction.

Sheikh Sultan also mentioned that work is underway on a new area behind Khor Fakkan University, extending to the sea, which will be known as Khor Fakkan City. This area is designed to transform residences into rental units akin to hotels, complemented by historical castles and mosques, enhancing the region’s cultural and historical significance.

The ruler noted that the development team is racing against time to complete these projects, which include the construction of major roads parallel to the main thoroughfare. One such road will run from behind the university to the city wall, while another will connect the corniche to a roundabout near an ancient castle.

Additionally, the plan includes the Fresh Lake project behind the Al Marsh Square, which will span approximately 750 meters and serve as a recreational area for children, similar to the Al Rafiqa Dam project.
